Goodbye Dos Bandas y Un Destino. Welcome Corizonas

Dos Bandas y un Destino, which began as an unusual collision of two separate bands, both in musical and in generational facts, as Arizona Baby and Los Coronas, has become in just eight months in the meeting point and tour of the moment. A dazzling path of sold-out shows that was collected in a double DVD / CD, "El Concierto", which contains one of those historic nights, the one of Joy Eslava Madrid, obscenely energetic, and of course overbooked.

But once the initial goal has been fulfilled, both bands, challenging the current musical industry, have just finished their final challenge, that seems to anoint them as the big event of the year. A new album of their own compositions, without covers. A thrilling album, as brilliant as unprecedented in this country, that the critics that listened it are already requiring the immediate international edition. It goes from regenerated country rock and folk most vital and innovative bands like Fleet Foxes, White Stripes, to the emotional trough of bands like Jayhawks. All with their own vision, immaculate, round and categorical. With 12 great songs for which some of the above would give an arm and a leg. “The News of Today” is right now candidate to album of the year, and, incredibly, undeserves theirs excellent repertoire of classic versions has been the core argument of this incredible journey.

The name of the album "The News Today" is like one of their acute observations on the world crisis. It appears initially in Spain (Subterfuge Records) on October 25 and with it a new beginning for this trip. A new concept which leaves the western imagery and the name of Dos Bandas y Un Destino, their uniforms and staging. A new set that leaves behind the covers repertoire to focus on the myriad of exciting hymns ahead. New poster, new scenic design, and a substantial change in its ideology cinematographical visuals and a unique brand new name: CORIZONAS. All in an upcoming new tour from November to officially unveil the new challenge of this fantastic adventure.
